This popular spot is the classical pub in Tokyo. It offers a wide collection of beer and hearty portions of homemade English favorites such as steak and kidney pie. Every night the live music taps the energy to dance on the floor. On the second floor, you can relax, drink and soak in the atmosphere.

It is a wonderful web of a pub with distinct levels, staircases and passageways leading off in different directions. An abundant use of warm, deep toned wood in the construction gives the place a down home. The main floor has a dance floor with a bar to the left but the stairwells rising to seating above provide the most comfy areas in the bar to relax. They serve the variety of English and Irish beer/stout, as well as offering delicious British- style pub food.

They put live entertainment everyday. Everything from poetry reading to grinding rock has graced the stage here but these days one is most likely to see power pop, blues, folk or fusion performances.

If you want to relax in an intimate setting with a special person, meet friends or listen to live music, the Dickens provides a perfect venue.
