Anime Conventions

Tokyo is the country where the widely known “anime” or Japanese cartoon, came from. Having said that, The Tokyo International Anime Fair or “TAF” is much –awaited not only from the Tokyo locales but from neighboring countries as well. There are trade fairs during the event, costume contests, conventions and performances! Exhibitors, visitors, tourists are very much welcome. Famous voice actors will give a speech before anime fanatics, and Animators will hold a little workshop for budding artists. An anime award ceremony will also be held.  The Tokyo International Anime fair surely isn’t the one to miss.

The Imperial Palace

The home of the Emperor of Japan (or the head of state), the Imperial Palace never fails to attract curious visitors from around the globe. A part of the Edo castle, The Imperial Palace is in the Chiyoda ward. The Imperial family makes an appearance at the Imperial Palace in Dec 23 and in January 2 only. Although people only see the Imperial Palace for what it is, not for its beauty, because Tokyo’s shrines are much more majestic and more beautiful in architecture.
